Mr. Jasmin Shah made his destiny an upward graph of success and achievements through his vision, skills and energetic approach.
He started his career dealing in S.S. scrap in 1978 in the name of Jasmin Metals and Steel Ex, both proprietary firms, making huge strides in a short span of time. At around the same time he established Jasmin Estate Developers Pvt. Ltd. He worked very hard and diligently to achieve these goals.
He later entered the media industry in 1995 by establishing Transmedia Software Ltd. and ventured into producing dramas and serials for various television channels. He has produced the following Gujarati dramas:

'Coffee House' - an episode based serial, Directed by Ramankumar, telecast on Doordarshan National
'Supriya' - a Serial, telecast on SAB TV with Sandhya Mridul and Zareena Bahav
'Lajo' - a serial, telecast on Doordarshan National
'Mili' - a serial, telecast on Star Plus
'Take Off' - a serial with a famous star cast that included Mandira Bedi and Deepak Parashar
During this time he also renovated and operated Manojkumars M K STUDIO, located at Andheri (e), Mumbai of 30,000 sq. ft. This was the first studio in India with 10 different ready to shoot locations, to cater multiple shootings at a time and was run successfully for six years
He always had a dream to own a channel one day. In 2007, he applied for permission of satellite channel from I&B ministry and received permission in 2010. He started operations of a 24x7 religious satellite channel Sohams in 2012.
He has also enriched the art of presenting spectacular events. Miss India world wide India pageants and run the title for the year of 2001 and organized the event successfully at The Leelaa, Mumbai
In a unique and innovative style he has successfully organized every year since 2001 the Annual Transmedia Gujarati Screen and Stage Awards for felicitating around 50 Gujarati Artists and Technicians. ETV Gujarati and Zee TV Gujarati have telecast the event and it is the only event of its kind.
Jasmin Shah was not satisfied with these efforts and wanted to work for enlistment of Gujarati interests, Language, Literature, Arts, and Culture etc. To fulfill this aim, he formed Gujarati Vikas Manch, a public Charitable Trust having 50 branches all over Mumbai. It is his dream to unite Millions of Gujaratis from all across Mumbai, under one roof for social work and for the benefit of mankind
